Eckernförde in Germany is the home harbour of "Le Petit Prince". Eckernförde is situated one car-hour (120 km) north of Hamburg. The Eckernförde Bay is 20 nm long. It takes four hours (two with the 11:Metre) to sail from Eckernförde to the Dansih Islands.
